We are excited to announce the recruitment of Dr. Yuzhang Li to UCLA! Dr. Li joined our Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering on July 1st, 2020. Dr. Li brings to our department his expertise in materials synthesis, electrochemistry, and advanced characterization, skills he developed as a PhD student with prof. Yi Cui and postdoctoral fellow with prof. Robert Sinclair at Stanford University.
The Li group pursues innovations in energy and environmental technologies, which requires advancements in both (1) advanced characterization and (2) materials design. The synergy between these two broad research thrusts will bring practical applications in the short-term, while revealing new foundations to build long-term solutions. Dr. Li is excited to mentor new students and researchers and encourages undergraduates to pursue research to supplement and put their classwork into context.
