In the just-released and broadly watched worldwide 2024 QS World University Subject ranking of Chemical Engineering Departments, our Department was ranked at No. 7 in the US (our Department has been steadily ranked in the top-10 in the US in this ranking since the 2017 version). In addition to reputation surveys of academics and employers, this ranking analyzes publication and citations to the works coming out of the Department, giving it significant credibility over rankings based solely on ratings surveys. Overall, our School of Engineering was ranked at No. 8 in the US. Other Departments in the School were ranked in the US as follows: Computer Science (9), Civil Engineering (8), Electrical Engineering (7), Materials Science (6) and Mechanical Engineering (10).
