2018 QS Ranking: UCLA CBE No. 7 in the US
In the just-released and broadly watched 2018 QS ranking of Chemical Engineering Departments, our Department was ranked at No. 7 in the US (one position up from 2017). In addition to reputation surveys of academics and employers, this ranking analyzes publication and citations to the works coming out of our Department. It is noteworthy that our Department exhibits a steady rise in this ranking as can be seen from its ranking in the last four years:

Overall, our School of Engineering was ranked at No. 8 in the US. Other Departments in the School were ranked in the US as follows: Computer Science (8), Electrical and Computer Engineering (5) and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (8).
