CBE Conference Room Policy

To help keep our campus safe and welcoming for everyone, please remember the following when using conference rooms:

    • Close the doors after your meeting. This is especially important after 5:00pm, when open doors can pose a security risk. Doors should never be left propped open or unattended. Repeated issues may lead to restricted access to conference rooms.
    • Clean up your space. Please throw away any trash before leaving.
    • Don’t leave items behind. The department isn’t responsible for personal belongings.
    • Return furniture and equipment. Bring borrowed chairs back to where they came from. If you borrow a projector, return it afterward.
      • In Rooms 5513 and 5514, please remember to turn off the projectors after you’re done using them.
    • Booking limits. Rooms may only be reserved through the current academic quarter.
    • Returning keys. Please return the conference room key immediately after use. Failure to return keys causes issues for others with reservations after you.

If you plan to use the conference room after hours (after 5:00pm), please coordinate a pick-up time with Elfren (baclagon@seas.ucla.edu). In this instance, check out the key, unlock the room, and return the key immediately afterward.
