In the just-released and broadly watched worldwide 2020 QS World University ranking of Chemical Engineering Departments, our Department was ranked at No. 6 in the US (this is the fourth year in a row that our Department has been ranked in the top-8 in the US; please see below). In addition to reputation surveys of academics and employers, this ranking analyzes publication and citations to the works coming out of our Department. It is noteworthy that our Department occupies a steady leading position in this ranking as can be seen from its ranking in the last six years with a steady growth:

Overall, our School of Engineering was ranked at No. 8 in the US. Other Departments in the School were ranked in the US as follows: Computer Science (7), Electrical and Computer Engineering (7), Civil Engineering (19) and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (9).
