Professor Panagiotis D. Christofides, Department Chair of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and holder of the William D. Van Vorst Chair, has been selected to receive the 2018 “Computing in Chemical Engineering Award” of the Computing and Systems Technology Division of AIChE for his contributions to nonlinear process control. The award is the highest honor in Systems, Control and Computing within Chemical Engineering.
