M.S. Milestones
Masters Advance to Candidacy (ATC)
All forms are sent to cbegrad@seas.ucla.edu in one email.
Please select 3 CBE committee members. You will not be able to submit your thesis until you have received notice from the Division of Graduate Education confirming your MS advancement to candidacy and your committee approval. Allow 5-10 business days for processing.
Thesis Submission
Complete an approved thesis that demonstrates your ability to perform original, independent research in order to complete your master’s degree. Before you begin work on your thesis, you will obtain approval of the subject and general plan from your committee.
Once advanced to candidacy, a Thesis Track student is able to then submit a master’s thesis.

Masters in Semiconductor
